About The Blog
Dominicans, whether Anglican or Roman Catholic, have three mottoes:

Truth
To Praise, To Bless, To Preach
Contemplare, ut aliis tradere

That last motto translates "to contemplate, in order to pass it on to others."

A Dominican's life is that of prayerful study of Scriptures, of Theology, and of the other wonders of God's creation. In all cases the Dominican is called on to proclaim whatever he or she learns in that study for the express purpose of the salvation of souls, their own included.

It is my prayer that as I offer these contemplations and sermons God speaks to you through my insufficient and unworthy attempts.
